Camino Day Thirty-Seven- Arzua to A Rua (11.6 Miles)- Second To Last Walk on the Camino de Santiago
Our body and minds are tired. We are on our second to last walk on the Camino. We don’t quite know yet our emotions. We are very excited for tomorrow and our walk into Santiago de Compostela. We are not sad that we are complete with walking the Way. We might cry, but we are not sure. We are so very proud of what we have accomplished.
The walk today was non-eventful. Though we walked through many small hamlets and there are no churches along this track and only one small Chapel. We did go through many Eucalyptus Forests. Years ago this region decided this tree would grow well in the environment and many fields have been planted. They are using the pulp for paper processioning. The trouble with this is the tree is very invasive and is starting to strangle out the oaks and chestnuts.
We had a very nice dinner with two Camino friends and one new one. Dinner was with Steve from Bellevue (yes Washington), Tim from England, and Robert from Dallas. We started dinner at 7:30 and finished at 10:00 after much Camino conversations.
Tomorrow… Santiago!

You should be proud. Obviously something you will always remember…..and cherish. As well you should.
Almost at the end! Way to go–Congratulations to both of you for this incredible feat!👍🏻❤️❤️
How are your feet??
The feet became a non item but we did tape them up every morning for 15 minutes.
